I came across this neat 3-D animation of the West-end LRT extension in Calgary. The new West-end LRT will run from downtown Calgary to 69th Street SW and will have Calgary’s first overhead, and first underground stations. The estimated date of completion is some time in 2012. You can find out lots more information about the West LRT on westLRT.ca It's actually a pretty nice-looking site, especially for Calgary :-)
On another note, I also found an interesting map on TheStar.ca of how people in Toronto commute. Neat.
